I'm sure you're all aware of the EDL by now, the next EDL demonstration will be on the 5th Febuary in Luton town.

For several reasons we're expecting this to be pretty big:

Luton was the town of the first EDL demonstration.
Several members of far-right Europeon groups will be attending.
Several members of far-right American groups will be attending.

A few groups such as UAF and MDL have organised counter-demonstrations.

Along with the National Front wanting to integrate a few EDL members, something tells me this one could be a pretty big turn out with a pretty big Neo-Nazi turn out.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone from the board knows anything of any left-wing groups leaving Wales to attend the demo. Cheers.

hey fictional, i will be there, although now im not in wales but am further up north.

this may be of use. call thier number and they should be happy to tell you where the nearest coach is. for studetns ect its usually free, or no more than a few squid.

also, you get a briefing of some sort and can find some people to hang on to if you are on yr own (i would advise this, anti-fash demos can be dangerous) however, being transported by the UAF does not necessarily mean you have to do thier thing, you can demonstrate with whoever and where ever you want, the UAF will still be happy to help a conrade out

PM me if your still not sorted closer to the date, I know a party member in cardiff who may be able to help out

yeah, make sure you do you own thing ;) and please be advised to have some spare money as well, UAF will not be waiting for you if you get nicked, so if you are using their transport have an alternative way of making it back.
It will be certainly interesting. Wonder if UAF already got place for their pen selected? :D

@El Rojo

Awesome, thanks a lot - I wasn't aware the UAF got coaches from here to there in all honestly, I'll definately be there in that case. I certainly will not be doing the UAF thing haha. Hoping to grab some of the local anarchists to come with me.

@Anarchist Skinhead

Tell me about it, I will cheers. Wouldn't be the first time I've been carted off and had to get home myself. Just need the ride up their since train tickets are bloody expensive to Luton.

Riding with the UAF... I'm.. down? for this..:cool: Cheers both.

Hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone was heading up from the Brighton area, both myself and a friend would love to come up, but apparently there isn't a single mega bus/national express coach going to luton even from london coach station :/

Any help or advice would be brilliant

these are the phone numbers of the brighton UAF group. im not saying you have to join the organisation or anything, and transport is free for those who cannot pay. but if you are stuck for transport then you can go with them. also means you will get a briefing and will have a group to stick with if you want if you are going on your own. this is dangerous at an anti-fash demo

Thankyou El Rojo, i'll be going with a friend and intend on meeting up with some people once there. But like you say it's good to be with a group when you arrive as well.

Looking forward to it!
