I really wish I could remember the name of this band from the midwest, I wanna say they were from Minneapolis or somewhere like that, anyways they were like ska/soul/reggae and all mod revivalists in the late 80s/early 90s, and they sang lots of songs about the union and anti-fascism.

Eventually they started this group, kind of like RASH, I think it was called "Modern Action", which was a network of left-wing/revolutionary mods, the wesbite included a picture of like 5 mods on scooters with hammer and sickles painted on them.

I also used to have a 1964 vespa 150 super, and I called for class war on it, shit, it was even black and red.:cool:

The PSL's line is based off of Trotskyism. But they could easily be percieved as Marxist-Leninists I guess because unlike most Trot groups they manage to make themselves relevant to the world and its struggles.

To give him some credit the PSL can actually trace its roots back to the SWP.

However they have renounced Trotskyism as the SWP later on did and adopted a Pro-Cuban "ML" stance

They are pretty relevant around California, I don't agree with many of their politics, stances and think their organization is not very democratic but they are pretty relevant to a certain extent.

The PSL is a Marxist-Leninist party. Our theoretical tradition follows that of Sam Marcy and those who split from the Socialist Workers Party in the late 1950's. We aren't Trotskyists, though we do uphold much of Trotsky's theoretical contributions and follow in some of his tradition.
