In other words, men of color. This law went into affect a few months ago, and the media is just now getting around to airing it the day of MLKs birthday. Basically, the governor of Louisiana has authored and passed a law where members of churches can opening bear arms in churches to protect themselves from harms way. If you watch the video embedded in the story, you will see all the targets or fashioned after black men or men of middle eastern descent.

Ignorance and hatred are a very dangerous mix.

Guns and church have never been a cohesive mix, but with the passing of one house bill, they are be brought together.
House Bill 1272 was passed in July of last year. It allows churches the opportunity to have selected individuals bear arms during times of worship.
One law enforcement agency stepped in to help train and prepare these individuals in case of an emergency.
The Bossier Sheriff's Department held a Church Security Tactical Training Class today. The course included four hours of academic training, followed by four hours of shooting at the gun range.
Twenty people from several churches and various denominations participated in the event.
These people were selected by their church to take the course.
All those who participated had to be certified to handle a concealed weapon before entering into the course.

I thought you could not enter holy ground bearing a weapon.

I thought you could not enter holy ground bearing a weapon.

If someone would challenge this law, I'm sure it would be revoked. But wasnt there incidents in Iraq where American soldiers would enter a Mosque and gun those hiding there?

Its something to look into for sure.

I love how the video has absolutely no critical approach to the story. It's almost celebratory. Is that some sort of local FOX affiliate? And the targets, yes, definitely nice imagery. A bunch of white dudes shooting guns at people of color. I wonder how a video showing the opposite would play out in the public. Fucking racist country :cursing:

Its an ABC affiliate. Its typical of the shithole I live in. There is absolutely no commentary of the racism at all.
