The most immediately relevant suffix would be -county but I finds, say, Berkshire more aesthetically pleasing than berkcounty. So fuck that. Plus nowadays not all the shires are counties and vice versa.

Well, I was restricted originally because of some off-the-cuff remark I made in my intro about the market or something. They said that I was an anarcho-capitalist, but that was never true...I was more of a quasi-mutualist or something. My politics at that point were a little ill-defined; I was still trying to find political identity. In any case, I was restricted for about 100 posts, afterwhich I was unrestricted, and was inducted into the CC shortly afterward (LOL).

Dean (now a mod) was also a restricted member around the same time I was. I think that he was restricted for a longer duration, though...my tenure in OI was pretty brief.

But what I find stranger about how I speak isn't the fact that I use British words, which is quite understandable considering at myriad of influences (Music, television, the whole lot of Brits that lost their marbles and decided Florida would be a nice place to live, you Brits and Aussie on here, etc). But rather that i'll mix the above with Southern Dialectal words (such as y'all) and Northern words on occasion.

For example I've said something like this before:
"Y'all a bunch of fuckin wankers, the whole fuckin lot of ya.... fuckin Schmucks."

That seems to be an odd linguistic combo, at least to me. :lol:

Aw well, I have strong views and I do try to express them effectively, without apology, which often entails expressing them forcefully - but I try to keep things political not personal and not to be personally aggressive, so I'm sorry if I seem otherwise.

I do think that its easy for me to feel defensive in the forum in that I seem to attract a lot of strong feelings from people and sometimes feel more than a little harassed. It has definitely gotten better though than it has been at points in the past.
