Anyone want to offer a marxist interpretation of the events in Tunisia?
On the news, there were a couple of rioters with che guevara scarfs, holding them up and chanting, but I dont think it is a socialist movement that is on the streets.
It all aparently started when a graduate set himself on fire as protest at not being allowed to sell vegetables without state interfierence, then the police shot gathering protestors
