Smoke weed, or take benadryl or Nyquil. I have sleeping problems too (sometimes just lay awake all night) and smoking usually cures that.

I have severe insomnia and get 3-4 hours each night and miss many nights of sleep - then take naps for 2-3 hours during the day...I've found i can lay in bed in a dark room - even with an eye pillow/mask - for *hours* without going to sleep...then I give up when its 5am and get back to whatever I was doing.

I was like that also, and every now and then it comes back. You just need to get rid of any distractions that you may have. Things like cheese or milk will help you sleep also.

Apparently jellybeans help you sleep.

SNOOZE FOODS
These are foods high in the sleep-inducing amino acid tryptophan:
Dairy products: cottage cheese, cheese, milk
Soy products: soy milk, tofu, soybean nuts
Seafood
Meats
Poultry
Whole grains
Beans
Rice
Hummus
Lentils
Hazelnuts, Peanuts
Eggs
Sesame seeds, sunflower seeds

As funny as it sounds, I will just lay down in total darkness, maybe with my phone playing some soft music, and I try to imagine myself as a cowboy or something and me shooting people. That usually helps lol.

This may sound weird but i cant fall asleep when I'm bored. Its probably because I was use to falling asleep with my tv on when i had cable.

Thanks for the suggestion but if i had drugs they'd be gone and in me by now.

You could always get drunk and pass out.

Also exercise usually helps during the day.

Another thing would be to watch math lectures online. Honestly something like this:

on full screen should do the trick.

Not only does that count in the masturbation department, but it also qualifies as exercise, white noise, smoking (we all know it's better high), and imagining yourself as someone else (Paul Bunyan's stacked). Great method

I like the sound of bologna!

John "Eh" MacDonald
11th January 2011, 09:08
here's a tip for getting cheap bologna...

1.Walk into meat section of supermarket.

2. Find half a roll of bologna.

3. Rip a small hole (not much bigger than a dime) in the plastic on the face of it. leave.

4. Come back the next day. A small bit should be dried out but it can be cut off, and the roll of bologna should be half priced.

I love my auntie.:)

Many animals use the variation in duration of melatonin production each day as a seasonal clock.[23] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melatonin#cite_note-Lincoln2003-22) In animals including humans

Eat humans.

Where can i find this?

any pharmacy, it comes in really small tablets (a few hundred for a few bucks) that you either put under your tongue of swallow whole.
because its not an classic sleeping pill/downer you dont get groggy nor is it adictive. It (works on) an hormone that just triggers your fall asleep function. The worst side effect i noticed and heard about is that you get quite livid dreams. It works really good if you work nightshift or have an irregular live in general.

Lay down. Relax your muscles, close your eyesand don't move. Think that your left leg is getting heavyer. Much heavyer. Now try to reach out in your mind and isolate the feeling in your little toe.. zzzzzzzz

Works like a charm, sort of yoga stuff

Here's a little trick I used pretty frequently in college. I'm not sure if it really applies here, and I have no idea how this works biologically or if it's bad for you, but it does work consistently.

Basically, if you're only able to get two or three hours of sleep, but you're also about to pass the fuck out anyways, what you do is pop a decent dose of Adderall right before you go to sleep.

You'll have really intense dreams the entire time and then wake up feeling incredibly refreshed. It works every time, at least if you're able to fall asleep right away - and if not, then shit, you're on speed anyways and just redose when you need it.

I bet the dreams would be really intense, though i would imagine it would be one uncomfortable sleep involving tasing and turning all night.

Actually orgasm does help you sleep... So silly as this suggestion sounds, it might help.

Try having a warm bath/shower before bed, and also don't do anything too mentally stimulating in the hour or so before bed. Staying up online really doesn't help you to get to sleep.
