Outsourcing

Can anyone throw me some random statistics (that are accurate...) on outsourcing? It's a long story, but basically my friend has to construct an argument in favor of outsourcing in a class and I'm going to help by making an argument in negation... and also because from the definition I was given by my friend it sounds like a major form of economic exploitation. Can anyone give me some details on how outsourcing affects countries and their economic development too?
