it is all over many independent media sites try there I emailed Sherman awhile ago and he told me he is going to continue to organize and be active even after his sentence. If you really want to help him and many others get involved in programs that provide books to prisoners.

protesting may not get him outta jail but it will still help i need ideas for prostest, to let people know that it is the day that he is going to jail, ive talked to him on AIM and i told him that i do protest for him and that is exactly what he wants right now, so give me some protesting ideas

[Remember, a police state doesn't come all at once. It comes piece by piece, level by level. america isn't "becoming" police state, because the fact is america has always been a police state. All we are seeing today is it advancing to the next level, to the next piece. This has been going on since the day this country was founded. The first police in america were slave catchers. From the paddy-rollers to patrolers. From the plantation to the prison industrial complex. From slave-trade to what they call probation.
We haven't lost any rights because we've never had any to loose. ]-sherman austin

I've printed out fliers and posted them up all over the school. The administration tore down the first 5 I put up, so I put up 10. Now, I believe about 100 are up around the school on lockers and such. I have heard of things like this all over the country. Sherman has an entire movement devoted to his freedom. The Bush administration has created exactly what they don't want to have: a martyr.

That sounds great Lefty. I don't really think any contribution of mine is worth while since I'm in the UK and all.

Well Neutral Nation and I run an Australian based RTF Chapter called Anarchist-Action, http://www.anarchist-action.org we haven't really decided on anything yet. Perhaps at the upcoming Anti-Capitalist protest, in solidarity with Cancun we will hand out fliers etc...
Anyone involved with the RTF collective? They do maintenance on the website and so on...

The best thing you can do to help Sherman is to get your organisations (if you belong to one) to join the RTF network in solidarity with him. This will encourage Sherman and at the same time help on the path of building Internationalism.

We're trying to organise a picket in Melbourne, Australia.

If you're living in Melbourne, check out this page (http://www.anarchist-action.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=16) and see if you can attend.
