lol

not to rain on the parade (although Devrim will come shortly and perhaps say something like this) but "Devrim," the word, means revolution (I think) in turkish.

Oh, I thought Devrim was just a name. Or maybe they just decided to name the revolution after him!

Devrim was the name of the first car designed and made in Turkey. That's obviously what that sign is referring to, duh.

As Jack said I have explained this more than once before, but I am happy to do so again.

Raul is right that Devrim means revolution in Turkish. It is also a common name though not my real one. Many Turkish names have direct meanings in modern Turkish and 'Revolution' 'Evolution' and 'Demonstration' are all popular names. Funnily enough, and it doesn't seem so to us but I can understand that others may find it strange, the leader of the Turkish fascist party is called 'State'. Currently there is a guy at my work called 'Comrade', but he is the only one I have ever met.

It is also the name of the first car produced by Tofaş.

Ah yes I've seen many Turkish slogans saying "Devrim!" and learned it's actual meaning.
