I would love it if some comrades could provide me some nice statistics about capitalism. Ex: anything shocking about poverty or any other social or economic issues. Also war, imperialism, etc.
edit: Also a source would be great for any stats.
2nd edit: This presentation will be made in my English 10 honors class for my research project. It will probably be between 3-5 minutes and I want to appeal to average teens.

Who is the presentation for? If it's for liberals I'd go with the 60% of child deaths can be attributed to starvation, or one person per second dies from starvation, or whatever, then provide a direct link between capitalism and poverty, which isn't going to be difficult. Or how about telling them that if the richest 100 people in the country gave up half of their wealth, there wouldn't be a financial crisis any more, this is true for Britain, you would have to research and find out a figure for your own country but I imagine it's similar. Then there's the death toll thing but I think Comrade1 got that covered for you

This is not helpful. It is a compilation of events which are in no direct way brought into correlation with the workings of the capitalist system...
For instance, it would be very hard to conceive why, let's say, should a Polish postal worker accept uncritically that capitalism itself is "responsible" for the violence and deaths of the Second Boer War.
I'm afraid that the task is more serious and much harder.
You would have to explicitly explain each event and expose its underlying connection to class interests and dynamics of global capitalism (with all of its consequences).

Sources? Israel's occupation of Palestine is fucking terrible, but have nearly 1 million Palestinians really died in the effort? Also, did 300,000 Yugoslavians really die to U.S. aggression, because I figured that many of them died to the Bosnian War as a whole and not just U.S. aggression?
Not doubting the horrors of capitalism, but I have my doubts about some of these claims.

I know that you're in the USA, so I'm not sure how much help this is, but here's some stuff about the UK debt/defecit that's very topical at the moment.
UK goverment debt = £900bn source (http://www.debtbombshell.com/)
UK bank bailouts in since 2008 = £1,500bn source (http://robinhoodtax.org/how-it-works)
UK goverment defecit (the annual difference between income and expendature) = £150bn source (http://www.debtbombshell.com/)
Tax dodging = £120bn a year source (http://www.pcs.org.uk/en/news_and_events/news_centre/recent-news.cfm/id/D189CDCA-D405-4F3A-994AEF8053E4D1D6)
Unemployment benefits = £7bn a year source (http://www.ukpublicspending.co.uk/uk_year2010_0.html#ukgs30240)
Defence spending = £48.2bn a year Source (http://www.ukpublicspending.co.uk/uk_year2010_0.html#ukgs30230)
Criminal "justice" system = £11.5bn a year = source (http://www.ukpublicspending.co.uk/uk_year2010_0.html#ukgs30250)
Interest payments to wealthy capitalists = £30.9bn a year source (http://www.ukpublicspending.co.uk/uk_year2010_0.html#ukgs30250)
You get the idea...
The poor are not to blame for the debt, defecit, or even a meaningful contribition in either. Stick that up your austerity packages and smoke it!
Oh and for more general stuff about wealth inequality in the UK, check this out.

Nah, if you attribute all the deaths in India that occurred due to hunger: be it starvation, malnutrition, disease caused by malnutrition, etc. you would probably get 120,000,000. If capitalists can do that for regimes such as Mao, why can't we do that to them?

Me too!
Some are exaggerated i think, but some are understated.
For example: 'Belgian Congo Colonization 1,000,000'
I've learned in school, a Belgian one (!), that our (king's) colonial politics killed an estimated 10.000.000! Only the first 2 decades...

This is true. Under Leopard the indigenous population within the Congo Free State went from 30 million to 8 million.
