I'm posting here for the fact that I am new to the forum. I have been reading it for about a month, joined yesterday. I'm here to learn more about what others in the realm of socialism and leftist thinking feel about certain issues. I already have far left beliefs but I hope to learn more. I hope this community has more thinkers and less of the "omg anarchy is so cool" crowd.

Thank you.

Welcome! What kind of far left beliefs? Definately check out the Theory section for some real deep thought or learning for more general questions.

I only consider my self a socialist. I haven't really made the step of going beyond that. I feel that if I try to label my beliefs to that extent, it will start to twist my views to the label and not my true feelings. Sounds weird but I try to stay as open minded as possible. My views are pretty basic, no censorship , anti capitalism, worker controlled business, actual equality. I'm still learning more, but I had these views from a young age, and learned that it fit in to the left spectrum of thinking.

Sometimes its hard to express feelings through words so mind my ignorance. ^_^

but dude... anarky is DA BOMB.

You're smart in your approach to beliefs. I think the best way to start learning is just really understanding the system in which we live. Learn your criticism of capitalism, then concern yourself with tactics later on (where the bickering starts between us ). There's plenty of classic texts, modern books on current world situations, diverse threads on this board, and much more available if you need help starting anywhere.

Welcome.
