All to often I find myself asking the question "Why do these CEO's and politicians willingly destroy the environment we, including they, live in? Don't they realize how self destructive they are being? How destructive in general?" They seem to regard little the lives of the people they have murdered, or die by consequence of their actions. They seem to be oblivious to the towns and communities they wipe out. They seem to be oblivious of they hole they dig for themselves... Recently I talked with a good friend of mine, we discussed the subject above, and he told me that he read a report. The report detailed the release of dopamine in the brain as the subjects made their first million, and then the decline, or the withdrawal. After a few weeks or months they became dissatisfied with their luxury, they craved more, and made more. Just as a heroine addict will harm a close friend or family member for a fix, these money-hounds seem to rip and tear ruthlessly at the world for profit. They no longer care about their own well being, or the well being of others.
