I have to say in all seriousness though, the song does always bring a tingle down my spine. Ah, what could have been.

Or, the old way:
Be true to the people, thus Stalin has reared us,
Inspire us to labor and valorous deed!


This verse was changed by in 1977 to "de-Stalinize" them. Filthy revisionists!
