In regards to real life politics it prolly means Central Committee.

In regards to this website it means the Commie Club, which was disbanded because it was a major shitfest and no one actually wanted to keep up with the bullshittery.

Well you're right, there were a lot that wanted it back from what I heard.

Yet it was abolished ultimately, by I think it's own decision (?).

Nah IIRC one day the admins just closed it. Edelweiss got a lot of rep for the announcement so it was a somewhat popular move for sure.

That AA thing will be permanently dubbed Anarchist Authoritarians by pretty much everyone because I can imagine it too becoming a gigantic shit festival.

I'm amazed this thread hasn't been trashed - I thought Revleft had a strict policy regarding mentioning the CC - or does that not apply in Chit Chat?

Anyways, I'm also a newer member and thus never got to see the CC in practice, but I can't imagine it being so disastrous that no one is allowed to even speak of it anymore....

It isn't against the rules to talk about the CC. It is just annoying seeing threads about it pop up in all the wrong sections of the forum every month.

I was around when people were in the CC. They had blue names and their own forum.

No. Admins closed it. There was actually a vote on whether or not to close the CC right before it closed, overwhelmingly in favor of keeping the CC. The majority of CC members didn't want to close it.

I remember I was voted into it, and I checked it out a few times. There was nothing really extraodinary about it. Only problem I would have saw was that people posted pics of themselves on it, which if I was able to get into it without really asking to that easily, would be a security risk for some people I would think.
