I couldn't find anything in Anarchist Yellow Pages for Sacramento so... any ideas? In general, how do most of yall make your way when it comes to meeting fellow revolutionaries?

I'm in Sacramento visiting family for the next two weeks, but I never had any luck while I was living here (hence the reason I left!!). Apparently there is a Marxist school downtown-ish and there are
[email protected] activist circles at the universities (Sac State/UC Davis), but I've never heard of anything beyond that. ANSWER may have folks there, but that's a guess. No anarchist scene that I'm aware of either.
Your best bet is to make contacts in the Bay Area and try to see if they know anybody there who you could work with. Shoot me a PM if you are interested in going that route.

Its not easy to find left leaning revolutionaries in the real world. the internet is really the only place Ive met others like that. but don't worry because with the internet you are sure to find some one eventually.
good luck.

I truly don't know what the situation is with the Party for Socialism and Liberation in Sacramento. I think we have members there, but no official branch as of yet. Here's a list of our California branches: http://www2.pslweb.org/site/PageServer?pagename=contactus#CA
Even though we aren't anarchists, it would still be good to be in touch and build the struggle locally. There were a good amount of anarchists that I got to talk to at our National Conference in November, which was a great experience.

Im a member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation and my work is in Sacramento. Because of this, ANSWER is there as well. (its not just me though, i just wont state the numbers of affiliates and members for obvious reasons)
There is the Peace and Freedom Party (socialist shell-party if you will, PSL and SP-USA ran candidates through it last election)
then for anarchists, all i know of is Copwatchers. Go to Sac Peace meetings and meet people. Pretty much everyone on the left in sac is doing work on Palestinian solidarity.
There are some other orgs as well. There is a community housing type deal that hosts a lot of far left groups and also i believe there was an EZLN group in the area. I dont know how active they are though.
There are some non-affiliated communists who hang about as well.
Also, Socialist Organizer has one person that i know of here.
Apparently the ISO has a presence here as well.
and the CP-USA is supposed to have an office in Roseville. never bothered visiting or seeing if it was still there.
PM me if you have any questions.

We held a campaign event there in November.
Some great artwork there. Its a Chicano/Latino culture center afaik. i was only there for that one event.
Just an FYI though.
There are probably a dozen fash/far-right(i mean FAR right) organizations in the sac metro area. I dont know their numbers and i havent run into any yet, thankfully.

Either this is CP-USA's Roseville branch or they've started a Sacramento branch, but they now have a website. I'm no fan of CPUSA, but here's the site anyway for info purposes: http://www.clubredsacramento.co.cc
EDIT: Watch out, music might automatically start playing at the site.

Check out Modesto Anarcho, in Modesto, CA. A bit of a drive from sacremento, but they have a solid anarchist scene there.
