i wanna as if a revolution does happen whould we just need to take the place were all the power is (capitl city) which will then give power to us or will we need to take the whole country?
if we just took the power (e.g westminister in london) people in other parts or the country might not be welling to go with the revolution. In the the october revoluton of russia they (bolshviks) siesed power the capital and other major citys.

any thoughts

The revolution will likely begin in the Third World, not in the First, so I'd have to disagree with you about taking the capital cities in the major capitalist nations. Now, the revolution in the Third World need not necessarilly be socialistic, it most likely will be democratic and industrial. Once the developing nations begin to develop to the point of becoming industrial powers, the major capitalist nations will no longer be able to support their need for constant economic expansion. All the imperialist powers will then be forced to roll-back all democratic and progressive institutions and legislation which exists. In this way, the modern labour aristocracy that exists in the dominant imperialist nations will begin to feel the brunt of capitalist exploitation the way the workers in other nations have for years. Two possibilities will occur at this point, either labour and capital will come together to suppress the democratic movements in the developing nations, basically revealing themselves as the fascist states which they really are OR, which is much more likely, the working class of the world will unite and overthrow their masters and begin the communist transformation of society.

I've never heard it put that way, that was interesting. Thanks for sharing.

This won't be allowed to happen given the current US hegemony and the reality of the new "World Order"

The rest of your post is simply theoretical...

This was always my idea as well, hence my previous post.

I always thought a revolution was needed in the industrialized countries first.
