I've decided to set up this thread, as a place for Australians on revleft to be able to discuss any issue pertaining to the political scene in Australia, or anyone who wants to chat about something happening in Australia, or anyone who has any questions to get on board and ask.

You should just create a group instead of a thread...
There isn't an Australia group but there is an Oceania group:

Have fun.

The group system is a mess. The Oceania group would be lucky to get a thread a month.
To the OP, what issues do you want to discuss? If there is something specific I think it's a good idea to post it on the main board (such as here in politics) that way the discussion can be more active.

While I agree, it's not as if you have to partake if you'd rather eat your own face.

The left in Australia is certainly not what it could be, it doesn't help when the Eco-capitalist greens are commonly refereed to as the 'Ultra-Left'.
