My favourite ad on this site is the one for the book "A Simple Guide: How Liberalism, a Euphemism for Socialism, Destroys People and Nations."

The banner displayed as I type this is from AllPosters.com, trying to sell me pictures of Lenin.

@OP: yeah, I've noticed this too. It seems the ads you get often have to do with the words in the title of the thread you're reading. In some Israel-related thread on here a few days ago, I got a banner ad for Birthright (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taglit), which I found kind of amusing (in a :rolleyes: sort of way).

Personally, I don't give a shit about the ads, but if it bothers you, you could always use this version (http://www.revleft.org/vb/index.php) of revleft instead; it doesn't have the ad banners. The color is sort of blinding though imo.
