Maybe as the gov't are talking of making squatting illegal its a good idea not to discuss this with strangers on the internet ...

Welcome, I don't want to squat as I have a flat of my own. But I'd recommend contacting your district council and getting on the list, most of the time they are useless but once in a blue moon they really do help someone out when they are in a time of desperate need. Also visit your local CAB, they can negotiate on your behalf and are very good at it, a lot of the people who volunteer with the CAB are lawyers in training so they know what they are doing and their only agenda is success for their clients (you). Finally, in the town where I live we have something called the Youth Housing Project, they are really good at finding temporary shelter at low or no cost for people under 30, a lot of towns and cities have similar operations, ask around.

Yeah, because if I was homeless the first thing I'd do was ask an international and most likely observed forum if they wanna squat with me. :confused:

This forum is observed, but police don't care about people organizing squatting with someone on the internet.

Maybe not where you live *shrug*

(which just adds to the problematic that the majority here can't squat with OP cos they don't live where they do. not to mention they're a sock.)
