^ Video.

This video, with the combination of the song and it's lyrics, and the beautiful crafted video parts, makes me think a lot. I believe the video is about what it's like to be a Marxist-Leninist-Stalinist in the post-soviet union world, where The Red Star is weak.

The song is a marxist-leninist asking not to be hurt again. He put all of his fate into the Soviet Union, and it was betrayed, and collapsed. And now he's scared of activism because he doesn't want to be hurt again. And

"I don't know. When you're not there .I need you my love, but you don't care."

It shows how a Marxist-Leninist, it can feel like you're alone, since there's no longer a strong Soviet bear to comfort you. You're all alone in a capitalist world, having to cope with being on your own in the struggle for your countries liberation. The song shows sadness, but also anger, at the Soviet Union for collapsing and leaving him all alone.

"What is right, what is wrong, give me a sign?"

This is the Marxist-Leninist comrade looking back at the Soviet Union and thinking, what went right? what went wrong? Where did things go so wrong? It is emotionally begging history to give him some sign that the next time, everything will be OK.

"Baby don't hurt me. Don't hurt me, no more."

Now, onto the video. It shows Lenin, Stalin and Mao riding in a car together. You could consider the car a funeral birge, and they are listening and moving to the beat of the song, just as remorseful as their now stranded followers. Lenin started it, and gave us hope for the future. Stalin led it to fruitation, but was killed before he could finish. Mao gave us hope that everything would be OK, but he too died, and his domain was taken over my revisionists.

It shows that they're driving off, and we're all alone to make of the future what we will.

"And I don't know. What can I do? What else can I say, it's up to you. know we're one, just me and you. I can't go on."

A recurring theme of feeling like one can't go on because of the fall of Communism and many comrades leaving. He feels tied to the Soviet Union, and feels that there's nothing he can do anymore. He left everything up to the Soviet Union, and now it's all gone, and he just doesn't have to willpower to go on in this hostile world.

"What is love?"

He loved comrade Stalin and Mao. But now there's no one left to love. It's all over. BUT HE MUST GO ON, FOR MARXISM-LENINISM AND THE FUTURE GENERATIONS, HE MUST GO ON, HE MUST KEEP FIGHTING, HE MUST NEVER SURRENDER T OTHE BOURGEOISIE! ;_;

As you can see, it may appear like a generic song with a novelty video slapped onto it, but there's a LOT more to it than you'd think. It's the ocmplex tale of being a 21st century communist, of self-conflict and hopelessness, and I find it a deep piece of leftist art.

If you don't find this amazing, excuse me, I'm high as a kite.

This is a song about how 21st century communists need to hold tight because a brighter future is on the horizon.

Starts off to the whistling of workers as they labor in the factories and bring Russia to the status of an industrialized nation!!!

"Shed a tear cuz I'm missing you"
Obviously we all miss the good old days of USSR and Maoism.

"Sit here on the stairs because I'd rather be alone"
Um, socialism in one country, duh...

"You and I got what it takes to make it"
He's clearly making a reference to Stalin and Mao.

At the end, the background vocals sing "Just a little Patience" because clearly we need to stick to it (Socialism) and eventually we'll see a glorious communist world.

"And the streets don't change but baby the names"
We are are proletariat regardless of race, nationality or religion.
