Anyone know the origin of the picture? Being Penguin, I assume they used preexisting artwork.

It's a Russian propaganda poster which was designed to commemorate the anniversary of October, I believe the tenth anniversary. That is all I know I'm afraid.

If you have the copy of the book, on the back cover it should credit the cover art. Or at least my Penguin edition of the Iron Heel does.

Unfortunately, I don't actually own this edition of the book, though maybe someone who does will stumble upon this thread. Failing that, I can just wait until I come across it in a bookstore somewhere.
