How true is it that Coca Cola "decided" that Santa Claus should be dressed in "corporate colours" back in the 1920s/30s?

Myth, Santa is an de-catholicd version of the dutch sinterklaas (st Nicholas), that dutch immigrants imported to newyork. Old nick is an saint dressed in red and white bringing children gifts through the chimney on the 5th of December. Now a days he has an black "helper" (used to be an slave and before that an chained devil). Sinterklaas in turn is based on older Germanic practices and the Scandinavian odin.

So it's not Saint Nicholas (aka San Nicola) of Myra in Turkey whose relics are still preserved in Southern Italy? Festival celebrated around 5th/6th December and patron saint of children and the city of Bari?
Also the Green Man of Celtic/Germanic folk tradition? I think the black/Moorish helper is only a Dutch thing. It doesn't exist here.

its an fusion thing, apperently in some parts of germany and austria etc there is some festival where older kids dress up as a devil/demon and scare/punish the young kids. In spain etc its quite common on older relics of saints to haven chained devil with them

Happy I did not grow up in Germany. I had an intense fear of the Devil as a child.

Havet & skinz, knock it off or I'll start grinching this thread up with warnings and trashings.
EDIT: I've changed my mind. The topic of this thread is such inherent nonsense that offtopic posts and lighthearted shitposts would probably improve it. I'll close it at some point anyway.

What? Velociraptor and Deinonychus were likely extremely fast.

What? Velociraptor and Deinonychus were likely extremely fast. They aren't that fast these days, however. Unless their remains are set on fire inside an internal combustion engine to power a vehicle but that's cheating a little. Even prehistoric plants go fast in those conditions.
