Despite the fact that communists are a relatively small minority with little power or influence in the government there are people who honestly believe that we are the ones that ruined everything. If you look you'll see that on the menu, they have a a list of anti-capitalists and yet all of them are capitalists.:confused:

I can't understand them, I mean with the internet the definition of socialism and communism are a click away. This level of extreme reactionary propaganda has infiltrated the working class. I can understand that they are upset with the liberals, but what I don't understand is how they think that the liberals are communists?


What is the way to combat this bullshit either or the internet or in real life?
1.They think everyone is a commie
2.They think that National Socialists are communists
3.They're homophobic
Other than using reason and facts (the three above reasons will show that they probably won't work) how can we deal with this negative influence on the public?

They're all fucking tards. They refuse time and again to see the truth. They have logical ideas presented to them and they still prefer to remain ignorant.

Conservatism is roughly defined as being opposed to change. I can understand this in a minor sense, but when it becomes so ingrained that it blinds and suffocates those who hold it dear, then I have the strongest dislike for it all. Why do they do it to themselves? Why resist what must happen now or later? Why invent outright lies to support their little fantasy world? Why deny reality?

The Right in the US has been making claims exactly like this (e.g. "liberals = communists!!!", "Democrat leadership = communists!!!" etc.) for decades, guys - for at least as long as I've been alive (I'm in my twenties), and I think for a lot longer than that; I don't really know why people get so excited about it.

Its interesting, though, how the American Right is the favorite excuse among American leftists for dropping any pretense to "revolutionary" politics and lining up alongside Democrats in the name of "opposing the looniez!!1".

Oh yes, I totally know. I work with people who have such thinking. I was just pointing out how they missed so many key organizations, some of the bigger ones (PSL, SPUSA, IWW, etc.) rather than all these local city groups. They point fingers at everyone BUT the actual radicals, haha!
