this is another "theory craft on what happens after the revolution" thing, but would there be any post capitalist use for those working as financial traders or brokers after a revolution?

Absolutely not.
Those people would be presented with an opportunity of acquiring skills for a production of useful products/services. If they decline, they can go f*** themselves, or in other words: they may go into exile.

I don't see why they wouldn't be if they decide to work in the new society. Unless they're so hellbent on remaining tools or desiring the life of the rich as it is now, they should be fine to find new was to apply and broaden their knowledge so as long as they feel they have a place.

It depends on the concrete actions and form of consciousness of a particular individual.
Whether I would accept a broker would depend on him/her abandoning the post, denouncing the practices and engaging practically in the struggle.
