Try this book called Intoduction to Marxist economics, it leaves out all the "big" words Marx used and its pretty good.

The single best intro is John Harrison's Marxist economics for socialists : a critique of reformism. Very readable and plain spoken. Availability is iffy but give it a try.

I hate to sound like a stickler but Capital by Karl Marx, especially the first few chapters. Now the language maybe kind of difficult, so I highly suggest reading this before diving into Capital.

Whatever you find confusing in Capital, underline it and make a note of it and get back to it.

I also agree with this. The best source for studying Marx is obviously Marx himself. Just take it slow and have a dictionary on hand.
