Sorry, but I very much doubt your group will amount to much at all, honestly.

Perhaps not. But 500 million people world wide use fb. Perhaps, It'll convince a few more to our cause. 5 people out to 500 mil is still 5 more than before.:hammersickle::trotski::hammersickle:

A few points.
1. *Security culture* You're the only member, so I know your name. I shouldn't.
2. You spell it "Stalinists" not "Stalinist's", but it's good to see you're already dividing up everyone by personal tendency.
3. I use FB for contacts with friends and those i've met in the struggle - from the SWP, ACAN, RtW, UAF, STW...you name it. It's good for coordinating activity. But why should I join this? I have places to debate Trotskyism - in the party and on Revleft. Most of the people I know on facebook couldn't give two hoots if I'm a 'Trot' 'Stalinist' or not: they know me as a progressive and socailist, and organiser, and someone who stands up for our goals and my community. Why should this change and why should I segregate, being in campaigns with a whole myriad of different tendencies, including 'Stalinists' (why I think you're using as a political term with little or no theoretical weight behind, tbh)?
I think too often people use tendencies as either a political crutch, to set themselves as different without the explanations. I might be a Trotskyist, but does that mean I support the current political aims and goals of the splinters which are currently calling themselves the Fourth International? I've never been in the 4I, either - our group organises in the International Socialist Tendency.
I think there are flaws here to what is meant by both Trotskyism, and the point of this group overall.

Security is probably the most important point here.

Just a group I created on fb. Looking for some great RL's to help me run it and contribute.
What's an RL?

This is a verbal warning. This comment is entirely unhelpful and demeaning. For an example of a productive comment, see Sam_b's earlier in the thread.

Btw anyone here joined the revleft on fb group?
No yuck.
I've only ever joined a couple groups. One for people I went to primary school with. One fro people I went to high school with. One for people who worked at the shitty burger joint I worked at. And one which is a memorial page for a bloke I went to high school with you got killed in a car accident in his final year.
I prefer to keep political shit off my facebook.
Nic.
