AAMB marks 43rd anniversary with resistance operations

The Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, announced that it had engaged in a number of military actions marking the 43rd anniversary of the Front, saying that these actions represented the legitimate Palestinian right to resist the occupiers.

These actions included:

1. Exploding two roadside devices east of Gaza where Zionist military vehicles were infiltrating into the Gaza Strip on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at 9:15 PM.

2. Firing 80mm mortars at a Zionist military unit and firing on them east of Shujayeh in Gaza on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 1:40 PM.

3. Firing 80mm mortar shells at surveillance vehicles of the Zionist military northeast of Khan Younis on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 7:19 AM.

4. Firing a Grad rocket toward occupied Asqelan, causing air raid sirens and interruptions throughout Asqelan on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 5:45 PM.

5. Firing three 90mm mortar shells at occupation military forces outside Gaza on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 9:00 PM.

6. Firing on occupation soldiers near the Karni crossing east of Gaza on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 8:50 AM.

7 Firing a rocket toward a military site in Kfar Azza settlement on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 12:45 PM.

8. Bombing military units with 100mm mortar shells and causing damage, on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 11:45 PM.

9. Firing on an occupation soldier entering Gaza from the north in a tank, Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 6:35 AM.

10. Firing on Zionist soldiers north of Beit Lahiya on Saturday, December 11 at 7:10 AM.

11. Launching a number of 100mm mortars toward Nativ Haasarah settlement on Saturday, December 11 at 10:20 AM.

12. Clashing with occupation soldiers entering Gaza north of Beit Hanoun on December 11, 2010 at 11:30 AM.

AAMB said in its statement that it adheres to continuing resistance to the occupation forces, which is the natural response to the ongoing crimes of the occupier against our people. AAMB pledged to the Palestinian people to remain loyal to the cause for which so many martyrs have fallen, and to remain watchful eyes to protect the homeland and the citizen.

Comrade Jarrar: Front will not cede to financial blackmail

Comrade Khalida Jarrar, member of the Political Bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, denounced the denial of financial allocations by the PLO to the PFLP as "political blackmail" aimed at forcing the Front to change its political positions, in particular its refusal of futile negotiations with the occupation.

Comrade Jarrar said on Saturday, September 11, that the PLO and the Palestinian National Fund are not the exclusive property of one person or one faction, but belong to the entire Palestinian people and all of the Palestinian factions, pointing out that the use of its funds in this manner exposes the fact that the PLO must be rebuilt on a democratic basis, as there is nothing compatible with democracy in this type of behavior.

She emphasized that these actions will in no way affect the political position of the PFLP, and that it would not give in to financial pressure or blackmail to accept threats and dangers to the Palestinian people. She added, "Despite all difficulties and setbacks, the Front will continue to call forth the message that we must expel the occupation entirely through our resistance, popular and armed struggle, on a progressive and democratic basis, upholding the rights of the poor and working classes, social justice, and women's rights."

She reiterated that the Front had refused such negotiations with the Zionist enemy since the Madrid Conference and Oslo at the very beginning of this deeply harmful path, and continued to reject U.S. imperialism and its attempt to impose more negotiations for defeat upon Palestinians today.
