Revolution is my favorite.

The Stone Temple Pilots decided to make their own version of it and they raped it. Fucking wankers

Beatles? The Backstreet Boys of their generation. Only lightly dabbling in the anti-war movement...too much goofy boy/girl love song tripe.

George Harrison was the only real musician, McCartney marginal base player, Ringo Starr maybe the worst rock drummer ever, John Lennon decent guitar player, good lyracist.

I wouldn't pick the Beatles over the Kinks for that matter.

I have to admit, I was turned off by the Stones in the late 70's, bummin when they "went disco" with "Emotional Rescue" ughhhhhhh! and "Shattered" pluuuuuuuuuuu.

oooppppsss.. ~Shadoopie..... My brains been battered. sex and sex and sex and sex and sex.... and Look at me! I'm in tatters. ugggh....... I'm Shattered ~

A bad day in deed !!!!! Funny how something can turn you completely away from something never to look back. ha!

Now the Kinks! I'm life long fan of.... One of the best and most under-appreciated bands. Vintage British vaudevill-esque great stuff. Village Green Preservation Society and Around the Dial.

And check out the Yardbirds, People. Another vintage strain of early pre-punk, and having three of the greatest guitarist ever existing come out of that band: Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton. They also do an alternative very blusey Train Kept a Rollin. good cut!

I'll say it again.... the ONLY good thing to come of the US was the British Invasion. Viva La British musicians!

i voted for the beatles, who i think are better than bothe the stones and the doors. the stones do not have that many great songs, but they are a great anyway.
