I am 14 and due to being perhaps the only politically interested person in my whole class, my teacher has chosen me to debate on the opposition towards tuition fees for a class debate. This is why I ask you all at RevLeft to provide me with some help, if you could post points of why these tuition fees are bad and also maybe post what the proposition may argue or question me on so I can create effective and shattering responses. I plan to write a speech of which I can control the room and would be glad if you all could help me.
Thank you RevLeft,
Ross Ninel.

there was an article in the FT last month about a study that showed no money will actually be savd

u can argue education has a wider benefit to all of society, its a "public good", so society should pay
the whole argument about graduates earn more, say not everyone goes uni for a high paying job after. universities are about higher learning etc, not training for job market

Thanks, I have mentioned about the tuition fees effecting everyone even those who don't plan on going to university as it will lower the amount of people in professional jobs, is this a good arguement?
