I joined three months ago, but have been lurking since then. I figured I may as well make an intro post and say hi to everyone. I identify as a Democratic Socialist, but I have sympathies toward Anarcho-Syndicalism and I'm a member of the IWW.

Welcome!
What exactly makes you a democratic socialist, and how does it fit in with AnSyn sympathies?

I identify as a Democratic Socialist because I am opposed to authoritarianism and capitalism, and I believe socialist victory is possible at the ballot box. Of course (speaking only for the United States), this would require electoral reform (proportional representation as well as a new method of counting votes), increased voter education, and the emergence of a new political party to happen. Which is why socialists in the United States must work toward some form of unity if they ever want to achieve any sort of victory.
My interest in Anarcho-Syndicalism is mainly centered around the emphasis of trade unions and the elimination of wage slavery.

Do you realise that violence must be used not only in order to bring a free society, but even to compete against the interests of international companies? 'Cause even "true" state democracy, like social democracy is against their interests!
