Sadly, this post has to be in the history section. In no way am I legitimizing the Bhutto dynasty, but I respect Benazir for keeping her cool through the detention imposed on her by Zia Ul-Haq's regime. That period of her life deserves respect.
However, I want to know how she betrayed the Pakistani working class. I'll give you a hint if you didn't already know: she became all cushy with maggie thatcher after she gained power. Her and her husband supposedly lived fairly bourgeois lifestyles.
She's touted as both a hero of the west and a "left-wing" archetype. what on earth does that mean? was she really as left-wing as they say?
