I find it quite amusing how Australia are now the ones lacking any particularly good spinners. An interesting legacy: Grimmett, O'Reilly, Mailey, Iverson, Gleeson, Ranji, Warne, MacGill... Hauritz?

It's often been said that MacGill played during the wrong time period, and it appears that this is true for the Australian team in general as well as the bloke himself. But really, the lack of quality leg spin seems to have accompanied a general decline in the quality of cricket nowadays.
