I've heard there is quite a bit of Yugoslavia nostalgia there. Can someone from the region verify that?

Oh no. Not here. Please. It's a laughing stock. End the discussion here, trust me.

Uhm, hurray for a legal communist party to be born? This tells everything one need to know on this party I guess.

Tito's son party is social democrat at best. It's members have very little understanding in class struggle and materialism. I consider them genuine reformists , in eurocomunist fashion , who are using Tito's grandson as an advertising puppet. I can hardly believe any of the lot read anything of Lenin

btw Red America , i see you have a "discussion" of Me and Q in your signature, simplified. :D

Hey, it's another "Genuine Marxist" party!

Which we can add to the list of countless other "Genuine Marxist" parties who come, go, and fade into nothing after doing nothing.

Regardless of what people think its a step forward anyway and shows just how much the Western attempt to implement capitalism has failed ion the eastern block.

This is one of the better jokes I've heard in a while

It was not a "Western attempt", unfortunately, unless one is prepared to enter the role of the conspiracy theorist. And the "implementation", again unfortunately, did not fail. Neither will the legitimation of this rotten way of life during the recession.

True it was successful in returning after the soviet block , but surely this will encourage people in the successor states of Yugoslavia to look into communism again as an option with Tito seen in such a positive light?

This is why I called for ending of this discussion. I was afraid of this.

It will encourage people to quit communism after seeing these bunch of wallys having 2-3 occasions in media annually , entering some lousy coalitions , giving statements no one cares for , and using communist name for all of that. Actually , only reason why they didn't use other name , cause they actually happened to have a communists grandson in their rows , otherwise they would most probably call themselves social democrat party or something

btw , members of SKOJ/NKPJ held a small protest at the official handing of signatures for registration of the party , calling them fake communists and bourgeoisie gang.
