What are your favorite cinematic treatments of guerrilla struggle, whether rural or urban? Mine are horribly cliche: The Wind That Shakes The Barley and Battle of Algiers.

Good topic:

Yeah I love those two great films you mentioned. What about Lawrence of Arabia, Salvador, Days Of Glory (1944), The
North Star (1943), the Che Guevara Films, Fidel (2001 or was it 2002?).

Apocalypse Now is interesting except for that vicious lie about severed arms of children committed by the communist guerrillas.
