Many of you may not know who Pedro Albizu Campos is. He was a man that fought for the end of colonialism on the island of Puerto Rico as well as one of my idols. Here's a bit of Puerto Rican history. Learn something new :)

Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos was also a fascist - a friend of Dominican dictator Rafael Trujillo. I agree with his struggles for the independence of the Puerto Rican colony, because in a time of great poverty and little hope, that was the intelligent choice, and still is. However, I don't agree with his politics. He didn't support democracy, which is evident when he continued with his "terrorism" after his party lost the elections big in 1936, and he had no economical plan. He was a man based on nationalist fervor, nothing more.
