View Full Version : Chronicles of Eleria (Online Game)
Dimentio
3rd December 2010, 18:00
This is a role-playing game occurring in a fictional world. The players play within an iron age civilisation, and consist of politicians, generals, noblemen, priests and whatever they want to be.
To start the game, I would need to have six players to fill up for the popular leader and the five large noble houses in this state.
You begin in the red team which consist of 2 districts and a very bad budget. The situation when you begin is that you are in a state of liberation war against the blue eight district team. The other teams are neutral city-states or barbarian tribes. All other teams except your own are Non-player Controlled Teams. Turns are every second or third day.

==
Elerian Society: The Elerian Society is a society divided into five castes.
==
Noblemen: This caste are basically landed aristocrats who are descendants of professional warriors. They do not only own land, but are owning serfs as well. They have indiscriminate power within their holdings, and are allowed to do whatever they like with their serfs apart from selling them. The noblemen have a code of chivalry. Conflicts between noblemen should be solved by mitigation between equals or by a duel. No one else than a nobleman has the right to kill a nobleman during warfare. Riding, hunting and arching are popular sports. It is popular to read poetry and religious works as well. A nobleman might have several wives and concubines.
==
Clergy: The Clergy are not organised but connected to their individual temples. In general, they are acting as doctors, counsellors and spiritual advisors. Most of them are living as beggars, but have a high social position nevertheless since they are literate and could speak Inoeian.
==
Burghers: Free citizens who are living in urban areas. Usually working as traders or craftsmen within different areas. Cannot be killed or have their property deprived of them without a popular trial.
==
Free Farmers: Free citizens who are living in rural areas. Usually working as farmers or craftsmen in villages. Cannot be killed or have their property deprived of them without a popular trial. Land is not privately owned but under the ownership of clans which are parts of extended tribal federations which are having their own courts, customs and shrines. Some of the wealthier communities are owning serfs.
==
Serfs: Are perpetually indebted to the Aristocracy and literally owned by their masters. Their labour and their bodies belong entirely to their masters. They could be killed for any reason at all – or without any reason. They may not carry arms. They may not marry without the permission of their masters and with a spouse chosen by their masters. They may not be sold, as slavery is banned. Serfs are mainly used for farm labour, household duties and sexual gratification.
==
Females: While not a caste in themselves, women in general have a low position in Elerian (and Inoeian) society. Women have legal rights as long as they have a male custodian, whether a father, a brother, a husband or a grown-up son. They may not conduct business or own property. Outside of their homes, females are dressed in colourful all-enveloping cloaks, while at home they are often entirely naked, apart from their make-up. Wealthier males are adorning their wives with jewellery, of which the most popular piece tend to be a collar worn around the neck which is chained to the door of the house, preventing females from escaping during the absence of their masters or husbands. If a wife is hurt or killed by the husband, the father and brothers of the wife could call him for a trial to pay a fine (if the woman have not been unfaithful). If a male kills his female concubine, he is not indebted to anyone.
==
General appearance: The Elerians have olive-toned skin, red-to-black hair and are generally slender and attractive. They have straight noses, elongated faces, colourful lips and blue to green eyes. Both free men and women are using make-up.
==
Culture: Elerian society is originally clan-based and each clan is led by a patriarchal figure, though that patriarchal figure does not wield unlimited power over the clan and needs to be able to mediate between the males of the clan to keep peace. In general, the clan is seen as an economic survival unit, and clan members are helping one another economically. No adult male within a clan, no matter the status, might acquire the weapons, women and servants from another adult male member of the clan without permission. The Elerians are proud, both of themselves individually, their clanhood and their race, and according to a pervasive myth, the children of Elerius are superior to all other races and are destined to rule the world. The Elerians view all other peoples, except the Inoeians, as savages.
==
Clothing: Elerian males are wearing colourful cotton tunics without sleeves. Wealthier males are wearing robes with differing patterns. “Free” women are wearing cloaks when outside, while female servants and concubines are naked. Male serfs and servants are dressed in colourless tunics. Soldiers and aristocrats are wearing leather chest armour in scalemail shape.
==
Sexuality: The intercourse is seen as a natural act, and no man is ashamed for nakedness. It is usual that a wealthy adult male could start to have sex with a concubine while dining or having a conversation with guests. Female concubines could be offered to guests to share with during the night. Male bisexuality is accepted, as long as the two partners are from the same social class and the older one is dominant while the junior one is submissive.
==
Technology level: Early Iron Age
==
Literacy: 2% (There is no Elerian alphabet so Inoeian is used as the main writing language)
==
History: The first Elerian was a fisherman named Elerius who had seven sons and daughters, who all married with one another to form the original seven Elerian Tribes, the Anballians, Garrians, Kalans, Makhalans, Palastarians, Onorians and Aragians. This is the beginning of the accounting of time. The Elerians colonised the lower streams of the River Deluva and became a wealthy and bountiful people who attacked and destroyed several dozens of native tribes. Then, in year 1993 PA, the Inoeians stormed down from the north-east on their chariots, and established several cities on the lowland, forcing the Elerian people living there to pay tribute and do work for them. The Inoeians besieged the city of Elerion in year 2115 PA and burnt it to the ground, and built their own city of Angan east of it's ruins. The unity of the Elerians fell apart, and they started to fight bitter wars between one another, leading to many city-states being established. At the same point, the Inoeians also started to fight between one another, eventually leading to the Priest King of Angan suppressing the other Inoeian kingdoms and unifying the Inoeians in year 2348 PA. The Kingdom of Inoe conquered Kalah in year 2377 PA and Gonn in year 2389 PA, oppressing the Elerians living there. The Inoeians continued to harass and force the Elerians to pay taxes. In year 2571 PA, a new King rose in Angan, Mekhol III, who in 2572 paid a visit to the city of Kalah and ordered every single Elerian killed. Two years later, he gave the same orders for Gonn and Alazur, the two other Elerian-majority cities in his realm, which led to a rebellion amongst the people, who stoned the Inoeian dignitaries and threw them out of the city walls.
==
Architecture: Walls and public buildings are made of stone blocks carved out from quarries. Private residencies are made of wood and in the villages placed on pillars, due to regular flooding every spring. The style is reminiscent of the Javanese one.
==
The Palastarian Pantheon: The Inoeians and Elerians are both sharing the same religion, the so-called Palastarian Pantheon, which has eleven Deities. The Elerians call the Gods for “The Young Gods”, which are seen as rebels against an older Pantheon of “Old Gods”. The Palastarian Deities have no uniform moral system but could listen to prayers and intervene in human affairs. Often, the Deities are driven by petty motivations like jealousy, lust and greed. In nature, there are several local spirits of particular trees, brooks, hills, animals and emotions which are seen as affecting humans in their daily affairs.
==
Palastarus: The King of the Gods and the Sea God. Is bringing the monsoon rains but could also punish the people by floods. Overthrew and slew his father and re-ordered the Universe according to myth. Is seen as tall man with piercing blue eyes and black, curly hair. Is renowned for being lustful. According to a myth, the foam of the Sea is his semen. Many Kings have traced their heritage back to him through illicit affairs of their foremothers. The Palastarian Age came after Palastarus arrived in the shape of a mighty wave which rose several thousand feet above the air and rolled all over the lands of Eleria. The largest temple in the region dedicated to Palastarus is the Temple in Angan, the Royal city for the Inoeian Kings, who are tracing their ancestry back to Palastarus.
==
Nithane: The daughter and spouse of Palastarus and the Rainbow Goddess. Was born out of the sea and nurtured by Palastarus on the ruby island to the far east, where he fed her his milk and then – overpowered by his lust – raped her and made her his wife. Is the protective goddess of virgins and of family. Has no own cult.
==
Zemnor: God of the Sky, brother of Palastarus. Is keeping the vault of heaven raised over the world, and is a fearsome warrior who is guarding the border of Cosmos, fighting off the forces of Chaos. Is also the God of War, and is known to be pious and truth-loving, but at the same time jealous and power-hungry. Has white skin, blonde hair and beard, is tall and muscular and is responsible for thunder. The eagle is Zemnor's bird.
==
Agene: Goddess of the Island with the same name. Agene was a bountiful island far to the south-west, where the sun was never setting and the land was filled with golden grain fields and rivers of wine. She was the wife of Zemnor, and the most beautiful of the Goddesses. But her unfaithfulness with Yala – the God of Fire – caused her husband to turn against her. She fled to her main temple at the land of Agene and locked herself behind nine gates. To punish her unfaithfulness, the Gods amassed a host and attacked the land of Agene, killing all of her people and bringing terrible slaughter on them all. All but Elerius the fisherman were killed. The Island was cast down the sea, and Agene was brought before the Gods to be stripped off her flesh and roasted over a slow fire for her crimes, and now she is the Goddess of Death and Decay, destined to be tormented in the underworld forever until the end of the Age, when she would be called up to rebel in the Great Cataclysm to be defeated, tried for her crimes and destroyed.
==
Yala: God of Fire, brother of Palastarus. Following his intercourse with Agene, he was fought by Zemnor who cut off one of his legs and proceeded to kill him. Zemnor threatened to castrate him, but Yala promised a gift in return to Zemnor's warriors to make him defeat Agene at the end of the War of the Younger Gods. Yala worked for seven years, and came with the metals – gold, copper, tin and silver, to build the armour of the Host of the Gods, to defeat Agene's armies and destroy her people. As a punishment, he was forced to burn Agene's body with molten metal upon her capture. Is the God of blacksmiths. Has black hair, black beard and one leg.
==
Vetharus: God of Plants, brother of Palastarus. The land was grey and infertile, but Vetharus turned his two sons into oxen and created the first plow out of his own flesh, to create stripes and sow all the trees and the fertile plants. He also taught man how to plow and sow the soil. Has a strong following on the countryside, amongst the serfs and free farmers. Has red hair, is chubby and have red skin, always laughing and a more gentle and peaceful Deity than most of the others.
==
Calliene: Goddess of Love and Flowers, sister of Palastarus and spouse of Vetharus. Created the first flowers as a gift to Mankind. Also made the first mucial instrument, a flute made of a shell. She is the Goddess of Music, Arts and Poetry as well, and is both loved and despised for her beauty. Was raped by Zemnor as a punishment for declining him her love.
==
Zolone: Goddess of the Sun, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the day. During the night, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given gold as a gift by Yala.
==
Laille: Goddess of the Moon, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the night. During the day, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given silver as a gift by Yala.
==
Jashare: The Goddess worshipped by the Jasharin of the south. While they claim that she is the only deity there is, she is in fact a fire Goddess who is the daughter of Agene and Yala and has been adopted into the Palastarian Pantheon. Is ruling the desert winds of the south and the scorching red sand. The Jasharin are treating it as an insult that she is worshipped by the Elerians.
==
Loverius: The God of Laws and Justice and the son of Palastarus. Is also the God of Light, and seen as fully righteous. Is destined to one day create a new Universe and father his own Pantheon.

Neighbouring cultures
Inoeians: A people of traders, fishermen and warriors who are more advanced than the Elerians. They generally use chariot archers in warfare. They have a highly sophisticated aristocracy which is more religiously organised, with a priesthood leaping through the government. Literature, music and arts are highly revered, but unlike the Elerians, the Inoeians are having regular human sacrifices. They trace their origin to Palastarus Himself. They are short, have copper-coloured skin and straight, black hair.
Yalerians: An advanced and peaceful civilisation on the other side of the Eastern Mountains. They are skilled metal workers and farmers, but are nevertheless barbarians as they allow women to marry freely and to own land. They have frequent diplomatic relations with Inoe through sea-routes. They look like the Inoeians.
Daivarians (Western Savages): The Daivarians are living in the forests and the hills to the west, south-west and north of Eleria, to the north of the Southern Mountains. They are fair-skinned, red-haired warriors who are honouring truth above everything and could flare up in rage without notice, though as soon to peace as to war. They are very fond of alcohol, and are treating their women as goddesses. Their tribes always have two leaders, one male warrior-king and a female priest-queen.
Jasharians (Southern Savages): A race of mysterious savages to the south, who are worshipping their Scorpion Goddess Jashare. They are extremely proud and warlike, though generally defensive. Both males and females are wearing all-encompassing cloaks over their faces, combined with black jackets and trousers. All adults are wearing bows. They are breeding camels and horses and are organising their society on a clan level, raiding neighbouring clans in the Deserts. Their most advanced kingdom is Rajiva, which is trading glass, spices and valuable minerals with Kalah, though there are rumoured to be an amazingly wealthy kingdom beyond the sands of the scorching desert. They have black skin and are very tall. Though fewer in numbers, they are the most terrible fighters in the known world.

Female concubines could be offered to guests to share with during the night. Male bisexuality is accepted, as long as the two partners are from the same social class and the older one is dominant while the junior one is submissive.

==
Architecture: Walls and public buildings are made of stone blocks carved out from quarries. Private residencies are made of wood and in the villages placed on pillars, due to regular flooding every spring. The style is reminiscent of the Javanese one.
==
==

==
==
==
==
Zolone: Goddess of the Sun, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the day. During the night, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given gold as a gift by Yala.

The House of Xanthare is among the weaker military wise. Before we commit to either side we wish to see the movement of our fellow houses. For now we must commit to neutrality and protecting our own land from any spill over battles.

TURN II COMMENCING ON TUESDAY THE 7TH OF DECEMBER
NEWS FOR YEAR 2575 PA
* Mannastus is ordering the confiscation of Inoeian property in Gonn, which soon results in widespread looting of the central segments of the town, as both guardians and ordinary citizens are following the orders of the rebel leader.
* Several Inoeians are forcefully grabbed by the people and murdered on the streets of Gonn, thrown into a pile of waste and then set ablaze.
* The confiscated gold and silver is divided equally between the local government and the people of Gonn, which increases Mannastus' popularity amongst the ordinary people.
* Within the landed nobility and the trader community, the sentiments are less positive.
* The Kingdom of Inoe has declared that the "blood of the murdered Inoeians should be avenged by the head of Mannastus".
* The House of Virmine openly allies itself with the Rebellion, bringing in a much needed cavalry segment.
* The House of Xanthare declares neutrality.
* Mannastus is declaring Chillias Virminid the Governor of Alazur, and the nobleman brings order to the unruly town by placing troops inside of it, though the local population are less than enthusiastic, given that Chillias is a landed nobleman and on top of everything from Gonn.
* Agents are sent to the Elerian-majority town of Chroma to rouse up the population against the Inoeians. They are caught by the local authorities, mutilated and hung up on the city walls upside down.
* Chillias invades the district of Chroma with a large segment of the forces in Alazur, but lack of support from the local noblemen and townspeople leads to his attack against the town to be repelled, with some losses.
* Mekhol III, King of Inoe, sends a force of 1200 to 1500 men to Chroma to fight the rebels. A part of those forces are used to replenish the garrison of Chroma, while most of them are placing themselves between the Deluvia River and the rebel forces, effectively cutting their retreat passage.
* The Inoeians are recruiting two new units of infantry, one in Kalah and one in their capitol Angan.
* A large group of Duminians are crossing Western Deluvia and starting to plunder the countryside, demanding 1 pieces of gold and land to settle.

==
Elerian Society: The Elerian Society is a society divided into five castes.
==
==
Clergy: The Clergy are not organised but connected to their individual temples. In general, they are acting as doctors, counsellors and spiritual advisors. Most of them are living as beggars, but have a high social position nevertheless since they are literate and could speak Inoeian.
==
Burghers: Free citizens who are living in urban areas. Usually working as traders or craftsmen within different areas. Cannot be killed or have their property deprived of them without a popular trial.
==
==
==
==
General appearance: The Elerians have olive-toned skin, red-to-black hair and are generally slender and attractive. They have straight noses, elongated faces, colourful lips and blue to green eyes. Both free men and women are using make-up.
==
==
==

People of Eleria!!!!
Inoeian property
Several Inoeians are forcefully grabbed by the people and murdered on the streets of Gonn, thrown into a pile of waste and then set ablaze.Personally, when I gave the order for the confiscation of Inoeian property, I specified only the property of the Inoeian nobility which are not tangibly part of our cause.
This is not a war against the Inoeian people, but a war for our freedom. I'm deeply sorrowed that innocent blood has been shed, we are not barbarians but the most civilized people in this world and we should act like it.
Within the landed nobility and the trader community, the sentiments are less positive. I myself am a burgher, just like most of you esteemed merchants or Eleria, and will never forget your concerns. I promise that in the end our future Eleria will be a more prospering environment for bussiness than it ever was under Inonein tyranny.
Elerian noblemen, do not fear! I do not seek to dispossess Elerian nobility, the backbone of our future nation. We can work together to secure a better future away from the tyrannies of the absolutist Inonein monarch.
I also declare that noblemen and houses of nobility that join our cause militarily will be given assurance that they will be allowed to keep re-conquered lands and serfs.
I also call upon our noble brothers in the occupied provinces that this option is also available to them and to fight to liberate their province, they will be allowed to keep their spoils of wars and captured lands/serfs (from Inonein enemies and Elerian traitors). Eleria needs you!
People of Eleria, our treasury only makes even. I ask of you to commit to a small sacrifice for the future of our nation. I'm increasing taxes (by 1), hopefully temporarily, so to slowly develop an income needed to support an army to fight.

A Decree from the House of Xanthare:
We must stand together to fight the Inoeian threat. The people of Eleria will be free and House Xanthare will join the fight to ensure this. May our foe remember they are only mortal and our swords will remind them exactly of this. We will triumph!
From this moment forward the House of Xanthare is allying itself with the new nation of Eleria.

==
Elerian Society: The Elerian Society is a society divided into five castes.
==
==
Clergy: The Clergy are not organised but connected to their individual temples. In general, they are acting as doctors, counsellors and spiritual advisors. Most of them are living as beggars, but have a high social position nevertheless since they are literate and could speak Inoeian.
==
Burghers: Free citizens who are living in urban areas. Usually working as traders or craftsmen within different areas. Cannot be killed or have their property deprived of them without a popular trial.
==
==
==
==
General appearance: The Elerians have olive-toned skin, red-to-black hair and are generally slender and attractive. They have straight noses, elongated faces, colourful lips and blue to green eyes. Both free men and women are using make-up.
==
==
==
==
Technology level: Early Iron Age
==
Literacy: 2% (There is no Elerian alphabet so Inoeian is used as the main writing language)
==
==
Architecture: Walls and public buildings are made of stone blocks carved out from quarries. Private residencies are made of wood and in the villages placed on pillars, due to regular flooding every spring. The style is reminiscent of the Javanese one.
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
Zolone: Goddess of the Sun, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the day. During the night, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given gold as a gift by Yala.
==
Laille: Goddess of the Moon, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the night. During the day, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given silver as a gift by Yala.
==
==
Loverius: The God of Laws and Justice and the son of Palastarus. Is also the God of Light, and seen as fully righteous. Is destined to one day create a new Universe and father his own Pantheon.

Elerian Society: The Elerian Society is a society divided into five castes.
==
==
Clergy: The Clergy are not organised but connected to their individual temples. In general, they are acting as doctors, counsellors and spiritual advisors. Most of them are living as beggars, but have a high social position nevertheless since they are literate and could speak Inoeian.
==
Burghers: Free citizens who are living in urban areas. Usually working as traders or craftsmen within different areas. Cannot be killed or have their property deprived of them without a popular trial.
==
==
==
==
General appearance: The Elerians have olive-toned skin, red-to-black hair and are generally slender and attractive. They have straight noses, elongated faces, colourful lips and blue to green eyes. Both free men and women are using make-up.
==
==
==

Technology level: Early Iron Age
==
Literacy: 2% (There is no Elerian alphabet so Inoeian is used as the main writing language)
==
==
Architecture: Walls and public buildings are made of stone blocks carved out from quarries. Private residencies are made of wood and in the villages placed on pillars, due to regular flooding every spring. The style is reminiscent of the Javanese one.
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
Zolone: Goddess of the Sun, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the day. During the night, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given gold as a gift by Yala.
==
Laille: Goddess of the Moon, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the night. During the day, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given silver as a gift by Yala.
==
==

TURN V COMMENCING ON SUNDAY THE 12TH OF DECEMBER
News for year 2578
* Starvation and dysentery hits Gonn as the wells dries up during the summer.
* Chillias Virminid declares himself the descendant of Zemnor, the God of Heaven and propagandise about his victory in and around Alazur, which moderately increases his popularity.
* Mannastus calls for reinforcements from the north to challenge the numerically and technologically superior Inoeian Army, and attacks them at the village called Chepas, with disastruous results.
* Half of the Elerian army is mowed down by the Inoeian cavalry and chariots, and the entire army is scattered and defeated, most of it reaching Alazur safely while scattered bands remain behind enemy lines.
* Gonn is stormed by the Inoeians, who fight the militias of the people street by street. Someone throws a torch, and most of the housing in the town burns down, leaving only the walls and some of the stone shrines dedicated to Palastarus.
* Davol Palastarid, a cousin of King Mekhol III, is declared governor over the District of Gonn.
* Chillias Virminid is leading his cavalry forces and the majority of the forces in Alazur against the Inoeians at the banks of the Deluva river, charging at their flanks and breaking them. Over three hundred Inoeians are killed and their army retreats over to Chroma.
* Several prisoners are taken. The commanding general of the Inoeian Army in Alazur, Calliol Achnanid is taken captured, as well as Jerod Sakharid, a wealthy Inoeian nobleman. The son and heir of the King, Akhol Palastarid, is also captured.
* The Republic of Rox Uc is storming and occupying Alagoru, demanding their annexation. The rulers of the town flee to Inoe. The Inoeian vassal state of Eudare invades Alagoru to start to fight the Ucean forces.
* The Kingdom of Inoe demands that Rox Uc ends their occupation of Alagoru, unless they are going to plunder the towns of the Republic.
* Ximare and Arros invade Shagor to reinstate the previous, Pro-Inoeian leadership.
* The Ezarians institute a King over Chariza, ending their occupation. They storm and take Kezha by treachery, though they have lost many men.
* King Mekhol III demands that his son and his commanding generals are released from Virminid captivity. If they are hurt, the lands of Virmine will be devastated to nothing else than ashes, and all the serfs and livestock slaughtered.

==
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
Zolone: Goddess of the Sun, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the day. During the night, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given gold as a gift by Yala.
==
Laille: Goddess of the Moon, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the night. During the day, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given silver as a gift by Yala.
==
==

With the house of Umglo preparing for my new laws, I am creating a warrior class, (between burgher and priest), however they will have to pay for their own weapons and upkeep when off duty. Serfs if proficient can join this caste, society is now fairer allowing all of my citizens to rise to the highest echelons of society. Also with the disappearence of mannastus and the fall of gonn, I am forced to declare myself leader of the state and the army. My first action is to raise taxes by 2 so we are able to pay for our army and freedoms, this will be temporary.

Elerian Society: The Elerian Society is a society divided into five castes.
==
==
Clergy: The Clergy are not organised but connected to their individual temples. In general, they are acting as doctors, counsellors and spiritual advisors. Most of them are living as beggars, but have a high social position nevertheless since they are literate and could speak Inoeian.
==
Warriors: Freemen who are professional soldiers, exempt from taxes and have the duty to fight for the state or for the House to which they owe allegiance, an institution created by the House of Umglo in 2579 and devoted to Zemnor as their protective good.
==
Burghers: Free citizens who are living in urban areas. Usually working as traders or craftsmen within different areas. Cannot be killed or have their property deprived of them without a popular trial.
==
==
==
==
General appearance: The Elerians have olive-toned skin, red-to-black hair and are generally slender and attractive. They have straight noses, elongated faces, colourful lips and blue to green eyes. Both free men and women are using make-up.
==
==
==
==
Technology level: Early Iron Age
==
Literacy: 2% (There is no Elerian alphabet so Inoeian is used as the main writing language)
==
==
Architecture: Walls and public buildings are made of stone blocks carved out from quarries. Private residencies are made of wood and in the villages placed on pillars, due to regular flooding every spring. The style is reminiscent of the Javanese one.
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
Calliene: Goddess of Love and Flowers, sister of Palastarus and spouse of Vetharus. Created the first flowers as a gift to Mankind. Also made the first mucial instrument, a flute made of a shell.

The first bit of business, I call for a meeting of all of the nobility to discuss the future of our state next year. Any discussion of reforms should be held to then. Now we must talk about our military action. Firstly I wish the house of Umglo to hunt down the bandit around Alazur.
I will send my best men with my son to hunt down Manastus. Whilst I will lead my men with the Innoeians to attack the land grabbing republic to the west.
May Zemnor guide us!

The Umglo Shield Tax
-------------------------------------------
'Times are tough, times are hard, times are dangerous.
Because of this we are forces to exact a tax on the serfs under the House of Umglo's protection, in order to ensure their safety and prosperity.
This tax will be in the form of a quota of men in the lands entering the army for the duration necessary.
Lands unable to provide this quota may pay the equivilent in food or other wealths they are endowed with. To be negotiated based on need and requirements of the House.
This Tax is immediate.'
[Enact the 'Shield Tax'. Serfs provide a quota of their men into the army to maintain a constant supply of fit men, or they pay in kind such as food or other wealth.]

==
Elerian Society: The Elerian Society is a society divided into five castes.
==
==
Clergy: The Clergy are not organised but connected to their individual temples. In general, they are acting as doctors, counsellors and spiritual advisors. Most of them are living as beggars, but have a high social position nevertheless since they are literate and could speak Inoeian.
==
Warriors: Freemen who are professional soldiers, exempt from taxes and have the duty to fight for the state or for the House to which they owe allegiance, an institution created by the House of Umglo in 2579 and devoted to Zemnor as their protective good.
==
Burghers: Free citizens who are living in urban areas. Usually working as traders or craftsmen within different areas. Cannot be killed or have their property deprived of them without a popular trial.
==
==
==
==
General appearance: The Elerians have olive-toned skin, red-to-black hair and are generally slender and attractive. They have straight noses, elongated faces, colourful lips and blue to green eyes. Both free men and women are using make-up.
==
==
==
==
Technology level: Early Iron Age
==
Literacy: 1,5% (There is no Elerian alphabet so Inoeian is used as the main writing language)
==
==
Architecture: Walls and public buildings are made of stone blocks carved out from quarries. Private residencies are made of wood and in the villages placed on pillars, due to regular flooding every spring. The style is reminiscent of the Javanese one.
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
Zolone: Goddess of the Sun, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the day. During the night, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given gold as a gift by Yala.
==
Laille: Goddess of the Moon, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the night. During the day, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given silver as a gift by Yala.
==
==

Elerian Society: The Elerian Society is a society divided into five castes.
==
==
Clergy: The Clergy are not organised but connected to their individual temples. In general, they are acting as doctors, counsellors and spiritual advisors. Most of them are living as beggars, but have a high social position nevertheless since they are literate and could speak Inoeian.
==
Warriors: Freemen who are professional soldiers, exempt from taxes and have the duty to fight for the state or for the House to which they owe allegiance, an institution created by the House of Umglo in 2579 and devoted to Zemnor as their protective good.
==
Burghers: Free citizens who are living in urban areas. Usually working as traders or craftsmen within different areas. Cannot be killed or have their property deprived of them without a popular trial.
==
==
==
==
General appearance: The Elerians have olive-toned skin, red-to-black hair and are generally slender and attractive. They have straight noses, elongated faces, colourful lips and blue to green eyes. Both free men and women are using make-up.
==
==
==
==
Technology level: Early Iron Age
==
Literacy: 1,5% (There is no Elerian alphabet so Inoeian is used as the main writing language)
==
==
Architecture: Walls and public buildings are made of stone blocks carved out from quarries. Private residencies are made of wood and in the villages placed on pillars, due to regular flooding every spring. The style is reminiscent of the Javanese one.
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
==
Zolone: Goddess of the Sun, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the day. During the night, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given gold as a gift by Yala.
==
Laille: Goddess of the Moon, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the night. During the day, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given silver as a gift by Yala.
==
==

They could be killed for any reason at all – or without any reason. They may not carry arms. They may not marry without the permission of their masters and with a spouse chosen by their masters. They may not be sold, as slavery is banned. Serfs are mainly used for farm labour, household duties and sexual gratification.
==
==
General appearance: The Elerians have olive-toned skin, red-to-black hair and are generally slender and attractive. They have straight noses, elongated faces, colourful lips and blue to green eyes. Both free men and women are using make-up.
==
==
==

==
Architecture: Walls and public buildings are made of stone blocks carved out from quarries. Private residencies are made of wood and in the villages placed on pillars, due to regular flooding every spring. The style is reminiscent of the Javanese one.
==
==
==
==
Zemnor: God of the Sky, brother of Palastarus. Is keeping the vault of heaven raised over the world, and is a fearsome warrior who is guarding the border of Cosmos, fighting off the forces of Chaos. Has white skin, blonde hair and beard, is tall and muscular and is responsible for thunder. The eagle is Zemnor's bird.
==
==
==
==
==
Zolone: Goddess of the Sun, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the day. During the night, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given gold as a gift by Yala.
==
Laille: Goddess of the Moon, daughter of Palastarus and spouse of Zemnor. Is chained to Zemnor's throne and dancing for him during the night. During the day, she must go to his bed to make love to him. Was given silver as a gift by Yala.
==
==
