How come, every time I come home from school, I feel much dumber, and less intellectual.
What the hell is the point of going to School when all it does is make me stupider.
Seriously, my choice of vocabulary is always better when I'm at home.

Before school I used to draw for hours every day. Now when I pick up a pen I'm like "wat."

Ever thought that maybe it's the different atmospheres, that makes you change your vocabulary?

No, for example, I always talk the same.
But in school, when writing something, my arguments are always worse, my writing sucks, but when I go home, I have good arguments and good writing.

I used to be extremely good at drawing. I drew all sorts of things, from planets to Bird, Hawks, Tigers, and Different Flying vehicles.
This all sounds stupid, but they were actually very good.
But whenever the summer ended, I forgot how to do it and started over. Now adays, I don't even try, not in the summer, not in school :(

Maybe because the atmosphere at school is different than at home? There's a lot more distracting you at school, than there is at home.
Also, I'm pretty sure that when you speak to different little clic's, your mannerism when speaking vary. They're not so pinned down and narrow. If they were, you'd probably be a very boring person to speak with a lot. For example, I speak differently with friends on the West Coast in the US, than I do with those on the East. I might be talking about the exact same subject, but speak to either coast differently on it.

Art schools are a bit different, but an average school moulds us to fit the needs of the capitalist economy. We are expected to be thoughtless robots for generating profits for the bourgeoisie.

My teacher told me people get confused between communists and Nazis so much(I was debating a guy saying Nazis were communists) because "most communist countries fought with the Nazis in WWII". I facepalmed so hard I thought the table would break. I felt much stupider after that. Luckily she's a Foods teacher and doesn't teach History or anything.

My teacher told me that socialism is a just system while communism is something with very little or no freedom. She added that most countries today are actually socialist.

If you think school is stultifying, wait until you have a job.

If you think school is stultifying, wait until you have a job.
I think that's where the vicious circle starts.
If you hate school, you're likely to not bother too much, meaning you'll get bad grades, greatly narrowing your choices of what job to learn, increasing the likelihood of you learning a job that's complete and utter bollocks.

It's largely because you've become lazy and unproductive, prefering to spend hours mindlessly on the internet rather than doing anything else.

Well, stop it. Go for a walk, read, do something to get you out of that funk. It's easy to slip into complete lethargy and hard to get yourself out.

Says one.
Anyway, my laziness and mood are negatively correlated, and my time spent online depends on whether there is anyone interesting to talk to.

I find that school can be hard to bear especially with exam pressure ,my advice is to find a way to escape from the pressure of school eg taking part in social activities and crucially not overdoing study or setting yourself excessive targets.
