I doubt this will become interesting. Parliamentary democracy (voting) is not a form of direct democracy. There won't be any 'ordinary' people writing the constitution. To get elected, you need a campaign. For a campaign, you need money.

Social democracy will not save them from the ravages of capitalism. Interesting that the article drew a parallel with South Africe, which also was not "saved" by a capitalist "revolution."

No, but it could be interesting. Besides, it seems that the Icelanders rather vote for someone like Jón Gnarr than any marxist-leninist.

I believe that the Icelanders won't accept any solution meaning the privatisation of their natural resources.
