Hello,
I am a student of philosophy interested in learning more about Marxism and the philosophy of revolution.
I hope that my visit to this site will expose me to radical modes of thought and people who are well versed in Marxist philosophical thought processes.
Yours truly,
The Rawls Enthusiast

Isnt Rawls a liberal theorist?
yeah.
Liberal neutrality is the idea that the liberal state should not promote any particular 'conception of the good'. This idea formed a cornerstone of John Rawls' work and has been developed by many other liberal thinkers including Brian Barry, Robert Nozick, Ronald Dworkin.
Liberal neutrality provides the basis for some critiques of multiculturalism and the idea of group rights.
Political Liberalism is an update to John Rawls' Theory of Justice (1971) in which he attempts to show that his theory of justice is not a "comprehensive conception of the good", but is instead compatible with a liberal conception of the role of justice: namely, that government should be neutral between competing conceptions of the good. Rawls tries to show that his two principles of justice, properly understood, form a "theory of the right" (as opposed to a theory of the good) which would be supported by all reasonable individuals, even under conditions of reasonable pluralism. The mechanism by which he demonstrates this is called "overlapping consensus".

I don't think that it's necessary to cite evidence for the fact that Rawls was a liberal, he's quite well known. Still, this person seems to have come to learn, so that much is commendable.
We shall no doubt commend it through bickering, flaming and doing anything but answering every time they ask a question.
