View Full Version : Miserable Sick

I'm sick with a flu, I'm at work, and right about now I really hate life. I can barely sit-up and am apathetic towards even responding to things on Rev-left right now. I'm so low-energy that I can't be bothered to call people and and delegate my organizing tasks to them - I need to find someone to delegate tasks on my behalf. Then I get stressed about it and then I just get mad at feeling ill. I get so depressed when I'm sick, but the funny thing is that I used to kind of enjoy some aspects of the flu as a kid: get to stay home while the parents were out at work and watch cartoons all day. Now I just get angry and grumpy when I feel a cold or flu coming on because I know it means that either I'll be so out of it that I'll stay home and be miserable or it will be tolerable and I'll go to work and be miserable.

I'm trying to cough on as many yuppies at work as I can. I wish I could go to a tea part rally and cough on all of them too... don't want Universal Healthcare... here reap what you sew and take some of this *cough snot gag choke wheeze cough cough cough*.

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon?

That sucks, perhaps a nice hot bath will make you feel better?

My apartment doesn't have a bath-tub but that would be nice.

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon?Yeah but compared to 90% of the posts in Chit-chat my miserable complaining about the flu is still the most substantial thing on here.

And is this really the level of sympathy people have here for a fellow comrade who is down emotionally because he has to work until 11:30pm on Saturday night while sick at a job where he has no breaks (even a meal break) for an 8 hour evening shift, does not have access to health-care, and has to live in an apartment with no heat?

http://www.revleft.com/vb/showpost.php?p=1935569&postcount=1That helps. :)
