lol @ inter... murinho left, their weakness got obvious.his stupid defensive tactic covered some of their weaknesses.
they still have time but i wouldnt bet even on draw...they are 2 doen and they are not even pressing.and thats also a coach issue, murinho wouldnt allow that

This year,Is Barca champions or not? "Thiet ke web" vote for B. and you?
Yeah, of course Barça is in the champions. Today it plays against Shakhtar, and Guardiola has no that much hope. Yesterday's matches were awsome, the surprise of the Schalke and the crushing victory of the Real Madrid.

Well, it evidently wasn't that stupid, then.

i didnt meant stupid as not working, it obviously did work, it got them the cup, but its a stupid way to play football, which should be attacking!

Italian football is not about attaking, is 11 guys in the goal waiting to make a counter attack, plain boring if you ask me.

They won the the Champions league, the World Club Championship, Serie A, League, Coppa Italiana, and SuperCoppa Italiania, incidentally making an unprecedented Italian treble.
Why is it a stupid way to play football? Why should football be attacking?

I wasn't surprised with the result at all. While Inter have cracking individuals, they seem out of order this season and it's only the manager(s) fault. While, on the other hand, Schalke have a well constructed and balanced team led by a good strategist. They were building a team for years now and their low-budget investments are paying off.

Because i watch champions league, world cup, europa league etc, to see the sport i love on its full capability. When i see 10 people behind the line, then neither them or opposition have space to create chances for goal, make something "Extra" and make the game more interesting. We rather see small goal differences.Seeing players playing defense is far from fun to watch, it just makes the game boring, thats why it should be played attack style imo.I dont really care what inter won, i only care for 1-2 teams if they win the trophies they are in.

That might be how you see it, but others see things differently. I found the 2nd leg of the Barca-Inter match last year enthralling despite the fact that Inter had no intention of attacking. Similarly the 2nd leg of the Spurs Milan quarter final this year when Spurs set out to defend a slim lead from the away leg was, in my opinion, exciting viewing.

Leo is not the right man for Inter.. I do not see him as a manager type at all.

Style of playing is a thing that needs to be discussed.
For example, while liking the team and the players, I just don't dig famous Barca's style. Yes, they are the only team that can play this way at the moment, yes, they have absolute geniuses in the team that allow them to play triangles and short passing football, but I just find that incredibly boring. The devastation for Real Madrid a couple of months ago was a pure example. While playing with ease, and kicking the shit out of the arguably most irritating team in the world, they failed to make it interesting. I mean, 80% of ball possession achieved by passing it for 6 minutes by the sideline is frustrating for the opponent, but not appealing to my eyes. I still prefer the dynamite type of playing, as it can be seen in Premier League games over Barcelona's famous "butterfly" football any day.

I dont agree. Barcelona players actually show some football skill. I mean look at Iniesta who is around 170cm and 65kg, but he easily gets pass even the biggest defenders with ease. Barca also shows an amazing almost telepathic team-work where every player knows what to do. I never liked the English playing style which focused more on physical strength then skill. Thats the reason why English national team cant do a thing. Even the German team which historically focused on physical game now as amazingly skillful players like Ozil.

Nobody is arguing the skill. It's my personal taste to find football in which left back, central defender and the defensive midfielder pass the ball between each other for 5 minutes boring. And, yes, I am aware that at one point the pass will go forward and it will most likely be a goal.

As opposed to belting it up the field and playing the percentages? No thank you
There's no question that tiki-taka can be used negatively as a defensive tactic (stand up Spain) but no one can accuse Barcelona of that. Not when they're scoring goals for fun. You thought the last El Clasico was boring? I do find that bizarre; the game ended with five goals and featured some absolutely sublime attacking football
Why should football be attacking?Because people like to watch teams win games. As opposed to merely not losing them

I understand, but on the other hand its not much fun watching a game where the main playmaker is Jamie Carragher! ;)

72 goals in the Champions League.
Abso-fucking-lutely he's a player! And he is still better than likes of Adebayor, for who they actually have place for at Real Madrid. They let a legend go in disgrace, he was brave enough to try his luck not only in a completely new team, but a whole new different league with different style of playing and everything. And he made them look ridiculous for letting him go that easily. The number 7 will go to history, but not Real's. :)
Or, in his own words from last July:
"An era has ended with Real Madrid but a new one has begun with Schalke"

All this does is set up an even more interesting semifinal round. I was stoked for the Utd - Chelsea match up, 10x more for an El Clasico in the CL. That shit's gonna be a barn burner for sure, but I expect it to be Utd and Barca in the final...

At first I was glad that Barca beat Real Madrid in the semis...but watching the highlights of the series was disgusting. Barca has absolutely no shame in diving, complaining and racist taunting. It's sad that it all comes from a club that used to stand for playing the game right. Not that I'm about to root for ManU, of course....

If we actually look back at the records of both teams over the last five years actually Manchester United's is better than Barca's. The only place that you could say that Barca were better than United is in head to head results (three played, win each and a draw) where Barca lead by a goal.
Personally I think that Alex has a bit more nous than Guardiola, and United will do them.

Not comparing results, but what teams have shown Barca is playing currently the best football, and the best at last in last decade i would agree with AttackGR.
As for the final, i dont think predictions hold place for the final and i dont have one, but i would agree on the coaches comparison but i would take it even further and say that Ferguson is FAR better than Guardiola.I consider Ferguson to be the best coach i have lived and see.

If we go back over the last decade we see that both teams have won five titles each and appeared in two Champions League finals, with Barca winning both of theirs compared to United winning one. If we were to go back 12 years United would have a superior record.
You can of course make statistics say whatever you want them to.
However, there does seem to me to be a general idea created in the media that Barcelona went through the difficult bit in the semi against Real, and are now there to pick up the trophy with United merely playing the supporting role.
If we were to look at the stats though, which remember can be twisted to say whatever you want, we see that in the last four years United have made three finals and one semi whereas Real have only made one semi-final in this period, and in the three seasons before this year didn't manage to win a knock-out tie in the Champions League.
Are Barca a better team than United? Yes, possibly they are. I think though that a lot of it is to do with the very attractive style of football that they play and the general prestige surrounding Spanish football due to their international success.
If they are better it is not by so much.
Devrim
When saying not comparing results i literally meant that.I wasnt comparing what both teams have shown last decade. If i would do that i would choose Utd tbh.I am saying that the football they are playing now, their style its the best i have seen but again i agree they are not the out of this world team, they can be defeated!
