Well, it is not a new devlopoment, it has been going on for about ten fifteen years now. Ever since they started making nikes and McDonald toys, well, that seems pretty cappie to me.

china is shit now. Only their political system is communist, its bullshit.

I think most of the fuckers in the goverment were just in it for the power, maybe only Mao and the top guys were real communists and the rest were just "Yes men" and when he died they started to change his policies while kissing his ass offically.

I have many friends from China and although they love their country they all agree the goverment is not good any more. I firmly believe that people like Mao are a product of the people, if the goverment doesn't change its ways, i hope a new mao comes back.(or possibly a clone :-)

Before i used to hate the Mao's purges, but after seeing how the goverment is, i don't blame mao for purging the goverment.

Of course it's not. All Maoism did was transform a semi-feudalistic society into a fairly advanced capitalist one.

It was inevitable from the beggining of the revolution that their so-called "socialism" would bounce right back to capitalism.

yes its sad that china has gone capitalist, but they're still communist. I dont beleive that they were capitalist in 1911 because it was a still third- world country during the revolution (pre-industrealized soceity can't justified by our buddy marx in revolution); therefore, they could not make the leap from pre-industrealization to capitalist without industrealization, which i'll admit came later. But do not mistake government with economics. I think the real capitalism has come with the globalization of world ecomonics and the technological "revolution." Also, in defense of my buddy Mao: he wasn't using capitalist ecconomics, if fact he took the economics of china so far left that it took xiapengs(sp) legitmacy away to get them back into the left-center. However, during Mao's glory days be did give the land of agricultural China to the people and not the state-- a rather bold move in terms of capitalism. So the argument of capitalism could go either way, with or without capitalism. But they have been communist throughout (if you can call china and the USSR orthodox marxist communism) regardless of the economic stand point and they are as of right now undeniebly capitalist. So hats off to Mao and bad China.

Pamela Anderson is not remotly attractive, nor is bush... so you used kind of a crappy example, try Rachel Stevens, Carmen Electra, Holly Valance, Halle Berry, etc, etc, etc.

Allthough I haven't got much of an argument to back it up, though most of my comrades are saying China is cappie and has never been communist, so yeah. Well. Yeah.
