Yeah, I say Australia to win by 2 wickets. Siddle's hattrick was epic and Mitchell Johnson looks like Freddie Mercury. As expected, the Gabba produces a great pitch to make it an even contest between bat and ball. Should be a good summer of cricket.

I really don't know. Who are England's spin options besides Monty? Australia doesn't have any experienced spinners either so it's really hard to gauge what role slow bowlers will play. I reckon this series will be won by pace bowlers that can keep the ball swinging all day. The English bowlers can really move a Dukes ball (awesome ball btw), but can they do the same with the Kookaburra? That is the question.

swann is a superb bowler.monty's not playing , he was picked cos he could turn the ball , he went to the england team and he has to learn how to bowl again . the england coaches said 'don't do that' etc

What don't they like about Monty? Either way, I don't see spin playing as dominant a role as in the 2005 series with Warnie. I haven't seen enough of Swann to judge.
