It's been a long and winding road here. From Rand and belief that I'm worth something more than just the means to some others end to Marx and realizing that with capitalism I'll never be anything more than a means to an end. From Christian Evangelical (with a strong bent on social welfare) to mild atheist who doesn't give a shit. From open-door-closet-queer shocked and appalled at displays of public affection and pride to tight shirt wearing, tiny shorts sporting flamer. From middle-class white dude with a fear of them (blacks, Hispanics, Jews, liberals, etc.) taking over my country to unemployed white dude waiting in line with everyone else. From mild indignation to increasingly radicalized (pissed off).

I have no idea where I fit in the scheme of all this unrest, but I know I don't wanna fit in anymore. It's just too damn boring; my life, and that of my friends, is worth so much more.

Welcome.

So, you left those ideas behind? What new ones have you adopted, if any?

I've been reading Capital the last few weeks (and getting major shit for it) though I'm not sure I'd call myself a Communist or Marxist. Capital has been illuminating, but every time I look for someone else (either through the internet, books, or 'zines) I get the impression that they don't know shit about Marx and Marx's idea's.

I think I'd rather just be a pain in the ass to those in charge until there's no one left in charge.
