Scottish referees vote for strike action

Fixtures in Scotland face possible postponement next weekend after Category One referees voted to strike.
Scottish match officials are upset with the avalanche of flak that has come their way this season.
BBC Scotland has learned that officials are concerned that their integrity is constantly being questioned by some clubs and individuals.
And there are increasing fears among referees over personal safety as a result of public criticism.
The decision to take strike action was reached at a referees' union meeting held on Sunday afternoon, with unanimous backing.

I dont care if they are afraid, they shouldnt screwing up the game the first time.If they cant handle it, just resign(ohh wait, who would resign from an easy 1000 euro/week(thats for cyprus) for 2 hours job?)
I dont know the situation, but i can imagine they did lots of mistakes got the fans out of their clothes.And in any way, of course the referee is gonna get attacked if s/he makes a mistake causes you the win, especially if s/he does it repeatedly it either means that s/he is useless or s/he is doing it in purpose.If s/he is not resigning and the referee board is not removing him/her then you only leave the fans with the second.
So shut the fuck up, and stop fucking ruinning the best sport a human mind could create.

This all stems from the Dundee United - Celtic game a while ago. Dougie McDonald was the referee that day. Celtic got a penality, rightfully but then after talking to the nearest linesman, Steven Craven, McDonald reversed the decision.

The two of them later lied about what had happened to Neil Lennon. McDonald told Craven that he had "fucked up" but they kept that to themselves instead of just coming out with it. Craven kept the lie going to help protect McDonald.
