Is there really any justification for anything like this? Apparently the lives of Israeli soldiers are significantly more important than those of civilian children. And to put things in even greater context, the United States just sentenced a former al Qaida child soldier to 8 years in prison (this is in addition for the 8 years he's already been in prison) for what he did when he was only 15.
Israel and its allies can understand when adults force children to risk their lives, but certainly can't understand (or forgive) when a child fights against adults. Makes sense to you guys too, right?
