In early 1951, the Yugoslav authorities delivered the U.S. Secret Service Soviet attack aircraft MiG-15 and that gesture changed the future course of history, claims the professor from State University of North California, Coleman Armstron Mehta.
Apparently, it was the plane that crashed into Yugoslav soil during the war, but Tito wrote a letter to Stalin that the aircraft was unusable and completely damaged. The MIG was later repaired and delivered to US, in exchange for trade benefits and loans, which may have given the edge in the Cold War.

Titoists have always said that Tito was a socialist hero for standing up to Stalin. Well, here we see proof of this yet again.
