I am partial to Joe Higgins (http://www.joehiggins.eu/), for obvious reasons. As for the EUL-NGL itself...well, it's a technical alliance to allow it's members speaker time in the parliament. Sometimes there's joint statements. Nothing too exciting.

Joe Higgins and somewhat Kartika Liotard (subjectively a socialist and on the left, objectively having limitations that are obvious coming from a SP (NL) background, recently for example she started a campaign against EU interference in the Dutch pension system (http://www.kartikaliotard.eu/)).
