I've been wondering if Capitalists have the same mentality as equivalent to children (or immaturity) due their individualism and the lack of empathy, compassion, etc for others and totally irresponsible for their actions?

Except children usually are these things because 1. they have not been sufficiently "socialized," and 2. they don't really know any better. We can't really say the same for capitalists. They are more like socio/psychopaths than children.

Definite sociopaths.

It's not really a matter of maturity as it is a matter of socialization and whats taught to them by example, but it is comparable to the logic of a spoiled brat.

Indeed. However, all that said, I think we ought to try to stay away from evaluating the shortcomings of capitalism on an individual psychological basis. That is the stuff of liberal analysis, and lends itself to the notion that the problem lies in "bad apples" within the system and not the system itself.
As socialists, we should know better. Our analysis should remain within materialist grounds. The problem lies not in sociopathic corporations, but in the drive toward the accumulation of capital.
