So this was Revleft. I remember being a young man, trolling random political forums, searching for myself, my politics. Fastforward to today...
Has anyone ever heard the introduction to "Ain't No Thang (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bsg-q0JdgWU)" by Oukast? That's kind of how I feel. But don't worry, I'm not loading a gun. Also, if you don't feel like listening to the song, don't worry about it. It's all about that intro. I totally feel that. Does that make me racist?
But maybe I should talk about why I am leaving. It's like this. I'm not really leaving, because my words are here for anyone to read anytime. All I'm doing is synthesizing myself as active participant, with cultural artifact. I become something new, qualitatively different. This is basically my beef with science too. Although I am personally deeply involved in enlightenment "style" science, it is only because I haven't caught up to my ideas. It is post-modern, after modern. We are not returning to anything.
Yes, in fact I've had a postmodern streak since I got here. It's like there's two of me. There's critical reason, and then there's just critique. It's basically a self-negation. On dialectics, I've never been much of a fan, then again, I know that dialectics has been extremely useful to me in terms of both theoretical methodology as well as methodological theory, but more the latter.
Anyway, I'm rambling. I wanted to leave an elaborate note hinting at my mischief. It doesn't matter. This is good enough.
So I'm not going to delete my account just yet. I'm simply going to not really be active much. But if you need any more answers, just think of this song...
